DINNER WITH BARBARA CHASE-RIBOUD IN PARIS

On Friday, October 21, 2026, PIN–UP celebrated the launch of its Barbara Chase-Riboud Special with an intimate dinner at Le Relais Plaza in Paris, the city the artist has called home since 1961. The standalone publication brings together the artwork and poetry of Barbara Chase-Riboud and accompanies the forthcoming PIN–UP 41, Fall/Winter 2026/27 issue.

Spanning 20 pages, The World of Barbara Chase-Riboud features original portraits by Liz Johnson Artur, excerpts from Chase-Riboud’s poetry, her sculptural work, and a conversation with Paris-born performance artist and musician KUKII. The publication brings together the many dimensions of Chase-Riboud’s practice, including the poems “I AWOKE IN THE SHAVED AND SULLEN HEAT,” “BEEN THERE, DONE THAT,” “PILOT,” and “UNTITLED,” offering a glimpse into the expansive world of an artist whose work continues to transcend disciplines and generations.
